...we have a fantastic Musicality weekend workshop coming up with Michael Galea a local talented percussionist (from Etnica and Brikkuni)
We will be talking about Beat Rhythm Phrasing and Analysis of a song form Di Sarli and an other from D'Arienzo and a Vals

Friday11 th Nov 8pm  69 St Paul's str Rabat + a Practica Asistida after. You may get nibbles and drinks..i will provide some stuff too and we can have a party.
Sat 12th Nov7pm (before Milonga)Cavalieri Hotel. St Julians.
Sunday 13th Nov 5pm (before classes) venue still to be confirmed

Price is 30 euros (may also pay 20 euros + 1 box from class cards)
Open for all. Non tango dancers are welcome to join too.

Beginners course : October/November 2011

Argentine Tango - Primeros Pasos

 (introductory course for complete beginners)

taught by Nathalie Mifsud

In this course you will learn the foundations of tango with technique through some fun elements. The course system is wisely chosen so that you may be able to dance anywhere in the world.


DANCE PARTNER: NO need to apply with a partner.

PRICE: €50 per person / €35 for full-time students & senior citizens.

Other information..

DRESS: What you want, normally, casual.

SHOES: Followers (usually women) are advised to wear well supported shoes with some heel. NO FLIP FLOPS. Leaders (usually men) are advised to wear round toed shoes or gym shoes. NO long pointed shoes, they make life difficult. If you would like to work in socks, that's fine too.

IMPORTANT: Payment can be effected on the first lesson. NO refunds will be issued for missed classes, unless informed at the beginning of the course.

Practica"Y?" 9th Oct

Practica "Y ?" is a general practice session assisted by myself, for all levels. It is the time you may ask questions, discuss steps etc, whereas in a milonga it is against the milonga ethics to stop and teach or to ask.
I will be at St Augustine Hall, triq il-Kbira, Rabat on the 9th October from 8pm to 11pm for you with easy and pleasant sounds, to dance to and  ask as many Ys as you wish :).

Fee 3 euros to the tea pot by the door please

May bring your drinks cups etc with you and please take the rubbish back with you too.
