Giving it Expression - workshop

I am planning a workshop re using different heights while dancing. Giving the dance personal expression and interpretation. Adding texture :) It will be a 1.30hours workshop. Tuesday 7th August 8.00pm..at my studio in Rabat 69 St Paul's street Rabat..on a Tuesday night there should not be a parking problem .Please let me know who is coming.

Argentine tango summer course

Argentine Tango course for complete beginners - starting 11th July

Argentine Tango - Primeros Pasos

taught by Nathalie Mifsud

In this course you will learn the foundations of tango with technique through some fun elements. The course system is wisely chosen so that you may be able to dance anywhere in the world.


DANCE PARTNER: NO need to apply with a partner.

DATES  (course consists of 5 classes, each 1.5h long)

2. Wednesday 18th July 2012
3. Wednesday 25th July 2012
4. Wednesday 1st August 2012
5. Wednesday 8th August 2012 

TIME:
7.30pm - 9.00pm

LOCATION:
62, St Christopher street,  Valletta ( going towards the bottom of Valletta, it is left to Republic street)
  

PRICE for the full course: €50 per person / €35 for full-time students & senior citizens.
(students that intend to continue tango may profit from a 90 euro card for 10 classes)

Other information..

DRESS: What you want, normally, casual.

SHOES: Followers (usually women) are advised to wear well supported shoes with some heel. NO FLIP- FLOPS. Leaders (usually men) are advised to wear round toed shoes or gym shoes.
NO long pointed shoes, they make life difficult.


IMPORTANT: Payment can be effected on the first lesson. NO refunds will be issued for missed classes, unless informed at the beginning of the course.

Tango summer gathering

Tango summer gathering at Ghajn Tuffieha Bay, also know as Riviera, or Ghajn Tuffieha tat tarag 3rd July. Bring your friends, family, lovers etc
We will meet at the beginning of the beach, near the steps, sometime late in the afternoon for a swim. Say 6ish,
We will then have tango music at the kiosk. at about 8.30pm.
Wear whatever you want..beachwear, unga unga tonga, bikini or classic black. ..nobody cares !! There is a shower but please try not to wet the dance area.. you all know wet dance shoes can be hard on the knees.
Food and drinks are to be bought from the kiosk please.
