Tango Argentino - Primeros Pasos
(introductory course for complete beginners)

Argentine tango is a beautiful dance and it has attracted the attention of most major cities in the world. Even here in Malta we have a group of tango enthusiasts who are only too happy to pass on their knowledge of this addictive dance.

Principiantes lessons are always different and not a build up.
One stays at Principiantes level until the classes become too easy, approximately 10 months.

Due to Nathalie going abroad for her own training during the month of September, August cycle of Intermedios will consist of 3 classes and will be held on Mondays instead of usual Tuesdays.

Followers' Tecnica Class
Next Followers' Tecnica class will be held on Tuesday 17th August at 21h.
Followers' Tecnica classes consist of exercises aimed at improving one's balance and tecnica which can later be applied to other classes and in the dance in general. There is no need to book to attend these classes, however it is important to be punctual to benefit from a good warm up. 21st July 2010: Sunset dip at Ghajn Tuffieha
We are meeting for a sunset dip at Ghajn Tuffieha on Wednesday, 21st July, 6ish, at the beginning of the bay. (The one with the never ending concrete stairway.)
If you are feeling generous bring some food to share. If you are coming straight from work come empty handed.
Pack your bag with a towel, swimming gear be it a bikini, trikini, tankini, or grass skirt, as you wish, drinks, your pet walrus/dog, kids over 14, husband, grandma etc and an old pair of tango shoes just in case you feel like dancing after hours, mood and ground permitting.

Dr. Mohab Fahmi, organiser of the first Tango Aid Milonga, presents a €60 voucher donated by Locatelli Tango Shoes, to Ms. Stephanie Mercieca after having collected 13 tandas from the gentlemen during this event. Tango Aid was held on the 28th June with the aim of collecting funds for a charitable cause.
