Argentine Tango Beginners' Course

We are please to announce a beginners' course in Argentine Tango starting on the 10th March at 8.15pm, 4 sessions in length of one and a half hours each every Tuesday. Each lesson is followed by a practice session.  The cost is of 40 Euros for the whole course (30 Euros for full-time students and senior citizens. You do not need a partner, however if you have one it does facilitate the process. For bookings and further information contact nathalie@tangomalta.org

19th February 2009: Milonga del Sur

Our Milonga del Sur is back to normal mode, and everyone can go ahead and ask for a dance. As usual, this Thursday, at Il-Forn, Birgu, but we do get an extra half an hour to dance since we start at 8.30p.m.!

A reminder to all avid tango dancers who won't miss an opportunity to dance - there are no practicas this week.

12th February 2009: Milonga del Sur

In Buenos Aires it is customary for followers to sit close to the dance floor to be in a position to eye-up potential leaders and entice them to dance. Since it is Valentine's this week, we decided to have the leaders wait to be asked for a dance.

That's right! This special edition Milonga will see followers asking leaders for a dance...so leaders, be prepared to use eye contact to make sure you are asked by the follower you wish to dance with. And followers, scan the leaders well, pick your choice, and establish eye contact early before another follower snatches up your dance!

As always, see you Thursday at Il-Forn, Birgu, 9pm onwards.
