MONDAYS:
  • 8.00pm: Intermedios / Avanzados. With partners.

TUESDAYS:
  • 8.00pm: Principiantes / Early Intermedios

WEDNESDAYS:
  • 8.00pm: Primeros Pasos / Principiantes

SATURDAYS:
  • 9.00pm: Milonga (milongas are held regularly but double-check with the calendar on the right)

OTHER DAYS:

Introductory Argentine Tango course - Foundations, technique and fun - No partner needed

Argentine Tango - Primeros Pasos
(introductory course for complete beginners)

Argentine tango is a beautiful dance found throughout most major cities in the world.
In this course you will learn the foundations of tango with technique through some fun elements. The course system is wisely chosen so that you may be able to dance anywhere in the world.


DAYS: Thursdays x 5

DATES and LOCATION:

  • 24th March 2011 at The Palace Hotel, High Street, Sliema (map)
  • 31st March 2011 at Gloria's private house. 39 Mrabat street, Sliema (big white door in front of Coppini upholsterer) - (map). We will have a tango party Milonga after the class.
  • 7th April 2011 at The Palace Hotel, High Street, Sliema (map)
  • 14th April 2011 at Villa Madama, Balzan (map)
  • 28th April 2011 at The Palace Hotel, High Street, Sliema (map)


TIME: 7.30pm - 9.00pm
You are invited to participate in the Milonga (social dancing event) after the classes free of charge.

DANCE PARTNER: NO need to apply with a partner.

PRICE:

  • €50 per person / €35 for full-time students & senior citizens.
  • €25 for those that would like to repeat the course.

Other information..

DRESS: What you want, normally, casual.

SHOES: Followers (usually women) are advised to wear well supported shoes with some heel. Leaders (usually men) are advised to wear round toed shoes or gym shoes. No long pointed shoes, they make life difficult.

IMPORTANT: Payment can be effected on the first lesson. NO refunds will be issued for missed classes, unless informed at the beginning of the course.
