Argentine Tango - Primeros Pasos

Argentine tango is a beautiful dance found throughout most major cities in the world.

In this course you will learn the foundations of tango with technique through some fun elements. The course system is wisely chosen so that you may be able to dance anywhere in the world.

TIME: 

• 7.30pm- 9.00pm

VENUE:

• 62, St. Christopher street, Valletta

DANCE PARTNER:

• NO need to apply with a partner.

PRICE:

• €50 per person / €35 for full-time students & senior citizens.

Other information..
 

DRESS: What you want, normally, casual.

SHOES: Followers (usually women) are advised to wear well supported shoes with some heel. NO FLIP FLOPS. Leaders (usually men) are advised to wear round toed shoes  or gym shoes. NO long pointed shoes, they make life difficult. If you would like to work in socks, that's fine too.

IMPORTANT: Payment can be effected on the first lesson. NO refunds will be issued  for missed classes, unless informed at the beginning of the course.

GIFT VOUCHERS: Please remember that you can always give a Tango course as a gift to a  loved one or a dear friend. Gift vouchers are available from Nathalie (nathalie@tangomalta.org).

The Cavalieri Hotel in St. Julian's (map) will be hosting our next Saturday Milonga on 20th August, from 8.30pm - 00.05am.

Tango music will be provided by DJJJ. Please email your music wishes to Jelena .

Saturday 13th August : Milonga@Serjeants’ Mess

This week's Milonga will be held on Saturday 13th, from 8.30-11.30pm at the Serjeants’ Mess, Corradino Heights, Paola (map - drive up past the Mosque and you'll see the Church on the left - take the road next to the Church and then third left towards Coradino Sports Pavilion. Serjeants' Mess is just opposite.)

Tango music will be provided by DJJJ .

Fee is 3€, please pay the teapot.

We will be in the lobby - on the right from the reception.

Milonga Saturday 30th July @ Public Garden Lija

This weeks' milonga will be in the open air :) public garden of Lija (near Lija Tower: map). Weather permitting.
We will locate ourselves next to the gazebo, at the proper entrance to the garden. The floor is slippery :)
The friendly people at Bocci club will be providing inexpensive drinks.
Time: 8.30pm - 11.30pm. We can all go for a sit down at the Bocci club after the milonga :)
Fee: 3 euros. Please place in the "milonga tea pot"

9th July 2011 : Milonga @ Gloria's

This week Milonga will be held on Saturday, 9th July at Gloria's - 39 Mrabat Str, Sliema (map).
It will be a long one - from 9pm - 1am!

Please bring with you your own drinks, water and cups since there is no bar. If you want nibbles bring those too.

Tango music will be provided by DJ Nathalie.

Entrance is €3.
