Fiday 21st Sept milonga is at the beautiful and relaxed setting of Luciano's restaurant, Merchant street, Valletta..
We will meet next to St John's Cathedral. under the trees 8.30pm - 11.30pm

Fee is 3 euros to the tea pot please dancers only.

All students of all levels, old friends and new + families members are welcome.

I am pleased to say that we  have an exciting milonga coming up tomorrow Fri 14th at Ten Green Bottles, Mdina road, Zebbug..at the round about of Siggiewi. (map)

I shall be DJing with some good sounds :)

We can buy wine by the glass or by the bottle for the night. The prices of wine to take home with you are really really reasonable so i suggest it is the prime opportunity to stock up for your party season.
The shop is super dooper nice and very well stocked with every type of wine that your heart desires.
We will also be sampling some Argentine wine.

The place is lovely spacious with nice parquet and ACed

Fee for the Milonga is 3 euros as usual to the tea pot

Argentine Tango - Primeros Pasos

In this course you will learn the foundations of tango with technique through some fun elements. The course system is wisely chosen so that you may be able to dance anywhere in the world.


DANCE PARTNER: NO need to apply with a partner.

DATES  (course consists of 5 classes, each 1.5h long)

62, St Christopher street,  Valletta ( going towards the bottom of Valletta, it is left to Republic street)
  

PRICE for the full course: €50 per person / €35 for full-time students & senior citizens.
(students that intend to continue tango may profit from a 90 euro card for 10 classes)

Other information..

DRESS: What you want, normally, casual.

SHOES: Followers (usually women) are advised to wear well supported shoes with some heel. NO FLIP- FLOPS. Leaders (usually men) are advised to wear round toed shoes or gym shoes.
NO long pointed shoes, they make life difficult.

IMPORTANT: Payment can be effected on the first lesson. NO refunds will be issued for missed classes, unless informed at the beginning of the course.

tonights' class has a twist

We have been invited to the practica at San Antonio Hotel this evening. My idea is to have a class tonight as usual 8pm. finish at 9.30pm instead of 10pm so that you are not completely exhausted and we troop to San Antonio Hotel afterwards and we practice there.

Flash news workshops Sat 8th Sept

At the moment there is a group of visiting 30 dancers together with their teachers in Malta
There are workshops this Sat, milongas and a couple of performances

Classes will be held at the San Antonio Hotel & Spa in Qawra and will commence at 19.00 hrs on Sept 8, 2012 with the following schedule:

Lesson 2 - 20.40 - 21.55
Tango de Salon 2
Ejercicios de Equilibrio - Disociacion - Pivot - Técnica individual en Giros - Preparacion corporal para giros, enrrosques y lapiz - - Cambios de Dinamica - Combinacion de Salon.


Please note that both classes are open to all levels of dancers.

The cost of each individual class is Euro 15.00, whilst both classes will cost Euro 25.00

Apply in couples, if this is not possible i will try to pair you up, but please no compliants.
