Our milonga this week is again a space for ourselves at the Malta China Friendship Society, 62, St Christopher str, Valletta..A large green door.

 8.30pm - 11.30pm

Please close the glass door behind you after entering.
As you know there is no bar yet, so get your drinks and cups and please do take all with you back home. You were great last time:) thanks.

Due to the hall rental the milonga fee is 4 euros and not 3 as per usual.

Milonga 24th May 2013 @ Valletta

Hi for this week's milonga we are meeting at 62 St Christopher str, Valletta. Big green door saying Malta China friendship. Ring the inside bell and make sure  you close the GLASS door behind you, when you come in please.

Bring with you
water, your drinks and cups and whatever you may want to nibble.
Please take everything back with you when you leave including half full bottles of wine and packets of food etc. Teacher is watching her waist line.

One special request please..if anyone has any small perhaps foldable tables may get them..muchas gracias.

We start at 8.30pm and finish off at 11.30pm

Milonga @ Angka Cafe 17th May 2013

It is all happenning this Friday!!!!

Kostas musicality workshop at 6pm at Hamrun Music institute. He works a lot with dancers so it should be great for us tango people. The fee is only 5 euros and you pay when you get there.

After the workshop we head to Angka Cafe for a bite to eat and MILONGA :).

Milonga this Sat will be held at arty IL - Forn Art Gallery and Wine bar, Triq it trammuntana, Birgu.
We will start at 8.30pm
Finish at 11.30pm or as long as we can stretch it, depending on the neighbours.

Argentine Tango course April 2013 for complete beginners

PRIMEROS PASOS (first steps )

A basic foundation course, with good technique and some fun elements for complete beginners in Argentine Tango. By the end of the course you will be able to dance. However this is not the end of the story :)

Teacher and contact person : Nathalie Mifsud. To apply, please email nathalie@tangomalta.org. If you need to ask anything please phone 79287755.

Course : consists of 6 sessions of 1.5 h each.

Partner : no need to apply with a fixed partner however, applying with someone will make my life a bit easier. We will rotate.

Date : starting Sunday 21st April 2013 x 6 Sundays.

Time : 6.30pm - 8.00pm. (Please arrive a little earlier for registrations on the first day.)

Venue : 62 St Christopher street Valletta. (Going towards the sea, it is left to Republic str.)

Fee : 60 euros if you work. If you are a student, unemployed or a senior you may ask for a discount.

Shoes : NO flip flops and NO pointed shoes. Otherwise anything will do at first. Preferably a well supporting shoe.

Clothes : whatever takes your fancy, usually casual.

Payment : must be affected on the first day of the course please. If there are any classes that you cannot attend please inform me at the beginning and they will be deducted from the fee. No refunds are given later.
