Beginners II Sessions

Level II Sessions will be held as follows:

Wednesday 19th November - Sanguchito
Sunday 23rd November - Change of Weight
Tuesday 25th November - Ocho Cortado

These sessions are held at Nathalie's house, from 8pm - 9.30pm.
The cost for each session is €8. For those of you who have taken Level II already, the cost is €5 per session.

IMPORTANT: as always we try to have a balanced number of leaders and followers - thus email back and specify which sessions you will be attending. The above sessions are intended for all those dancers who have attended the Level 1 course or would like to polish up their steps.

Beginners' Course Level 1 Argentine Tango

We are pleased to announce that Nathalie & Gordon will be starting a beginners' course Level 1 on Tuesday 18th November. This course is being organised by TangoMalta and MUSC. Please note that you do not need a partner, as we are doing our utmost to have an equal number of leaders and followers. Since places are limited, please email us to confirm your attendance.

Place: Students' House, Campus, University of Malta

Lessons are 1:30hrs long, after which we will hold a short practice lesson
Price: €30 per person / €20 for full-time students
The price covers the 4 sessions and will be collected by Claudia on the first day of the course. Only registrations by email will be accepted and must be done by the 15th November.

13th November: Milonga del Sur

6th November 2008: Milonga del Sur

This coming Thursday we will be having an assisted practica from 7.30pm - 9.00pm, followed by our regular Argentine Tango - Milonga del Sur from 9pm onwards, at Il-Forn, Birgu.

30th October 2008: Milonga del Sur

The last Beginners 1 lesson (as per our original schedule) will be held on Thursday 30th October at Il-Forn, from 7.30 - 9.00pm.

Our usual milonga will follow from 9pm onwards.

First of all, thanks to all those who came to the workshop & Milonga this weekend - it was once again a memorable weekend. Big thanks to Aldo & Natalie for organising these events, giving us all the opportunity to further our tango knowledge...and an extremely big thank you to Maestro Eric Jeurissen for dedicating his time to our tango family.

Since we all want to put into practice what we've learned over the weekend, we are back with our regular Milonga del Sur, Thursdays at Il-Forn. This week the milonga will start at 8.30pm.

The Milonga is open to dancers and non-dancers. Invite your friends & family to join us for the evening. The Ku Dé Ta Lounge offers a light menu of salads, sandwiches and wholesome snacks as well as delicious ice-creams. You may also indulge in a comforting moment with a sumptuous selection of sandwich wraps and cakes, rinsed down by a flavored tea or coffee of your choice. A fully stocked bar will be open.
